Plaid Is Rad

(Statement Necklace c/o Lylif, Old Navy shirt, Seven for All Mankind jeans, Karen Walker sunnies, Loafers via Goodie Two Shoes, Michael Kors bag, Michael Kors watch, David Yurman bracelets)
When the lovely ladies at Lylif sent me this amaze necklace, my heart fluttered. The only thing I love more than rocking a statement necklace is being able to dress it down. I’m all about versatility here, so any piece I can double from day to night is always a must in my book. Of course you could add this necklace to any dress and jazz it up for a night on the town, or you could get more use out of it by pairing it with a casual ensemble like I did. When doing so, stick with denim on the bottom. Wearing trousers or a skirt tends to dress up the piece, and you want to keep the focus on A) the statement piece and B) the casual dressing down. Do you guys have a necklace that you never thought about dressing down?
Tell me about it 🙂

  2. Love this outfit so much! And I love your blog, too. Where do you do most of your vintage shopping here in Lubbock? I have had some great luck at Salvation Army off Quaker and the Disabled Veterans store
