One year ago today, I was just a fashion obsessed girl who had a New Years resolution to start a styling blog. Having creeped numerous fashionista’s blogs, I never thought I’d actually go through with starting my own. I am now sitting here today, celebrating the 1st birthday of DevonRachel.com. Beyond the press, exposure, and work of it all, I have accomplished a life long dream of being in any way involved in the fashion world. And that feels amazing.
It has been an incredible year. I have been overwhelmingly blessed with great new friends, business interactions, and wonderful opportunities. Most of all, I have formed my creative outlet, and decreased a lot of stress from my life. Like most of you, fashion is my escape from it all. Throw me in a fabulous closet for a day (walk in, preferably) and I’d be a happy girl putting outfits together. It’s what I live for. I live for helping people feel amazing about themselves through fashion, no matter what the circumstances.
I hope to continue my passion and touch as many lives as I can. I’m SO excited to see what the next year (and the many after) have in store for me. Thank you all for the support, love, and friendship along the way. It has been an amazing journey.
