I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I go through phases of "needing" certain types of clothing when I look at my wardrobe. Usually, I start to "need" this particular article because I thought I had a good assortment only to find that I'm hardly equipped and lacking. One problem. Once I realize I need more of another piece, I tend to get obsessive with it. Exhibit A: I cannot seem to get enough of pleated skirts. Especially those with the A-line silhouette. I mean, who could resist the fun girly flirty feeling they give you? I guess a tom boy? They're missing out!
Does anyone have the same problem as me? Or am I completely weird... Do share!

Um, no - you are not alone. I also have this pink pleated skirt and bought the army green one in the same style. Never mind that I already have a similar one from Gap in black and a mustard yellow F21 maxi like this too. Maybe we can find a support group? :)

Love this look girl! The colours are amazing and I love that bag. I'm with you, I can't get enough of easy-to-wear A-line skirts, especially when they're pleated! Love how easy they are to wear for both day and night.

ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I love the color of your skirt!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes I have the same problem! I am lacking in the skirt department right now, so I'm sure I will be going a little overboard on buying skirts this spring and summer seasons. I am going to have to check Old Navy out! I love this outfit, the bright pink skirt adds just the right amount of pop!

Yes, I do the same. I overbuy a particular item, such as ankle boots or floral dresses. Your skirt is so pretty, love the color and shape! Hope you have an amazing weekend!

ReplyDeleteOoo about to head out to Old Navy to make a return, and now I feel like it'll be an exchange if they've got that pink skirt!
ReplyDeleteHaha you're definitely not alone - this happened to me very recently with blouses! I thought I had plenty, but realized I only really have two that I actually really like wearing - the others were cheapo buys that I've grown to dislike the shape of, etc, so when I realized I really only have two blouses, I felt a sudden urge to add mannnny more to my wardrobe (I haven't done this yet, but it's going to happen! Especially as spring weather arrives and I can trade in sweaters for blouses!) I LOVE this skirt - such a fun color!!
