Entryway Styling 101

Entryways are an important part of the home. It’s the first place the eye sees after opening the door– a crucial make or break moment if you ask me. Because I feel so strongly about these areas, I decided to show you 3 different ways I’ve done my entryways. I’ve used only 1 table from CB2 (my new obsession).

Adding a stool underneath an entry table is a chic way to create interest and heck, storage!

LOOK TWO:
Lamp: Vintage (DIY) | Mirror: World Market | Tray: Vintage  | Candle: Diptyque
This look was more of a beauty table than entry. Because this part of my home leads to my bathroom and bedroom, I thought it would be appropriate to turn the entry into a vanity.
*Add books on top of stools for an even more fun statement.

LOOK THREE:
Lamp: Homegoods | Canister: Urban Home | Tray: C. Wonder | Candle: Diptyque
I’ve always loved coffee table books. I’ve got a pretty large collection of these puppies, so I love displaying them at all times. Try stacking two sets of your favorite books (or magazines) underneath your entry table to show off the collection and add some color and dimension.

  1. I love coffee table books too but I don't have hardly any! 🙁 I love ALL of these looks though. And that cobalt & white stool is AMAZING.

  2. Love this entryway! I am currently in the process of redecorating my apartment, and this gives me so much inspiration. I love the color scheme you chose for it, and how you added all the books. 🙂
