I'm always rearranging and adding pieces to my home. It truly is a permanent work in progress--which doesn't bother me one single bit. With such affordable and chic options out there, what's a girl to do? Or should I say, what's a hostess to do? Decorate, duh.

A few tips for updating:
- Create a gallery wall. They are so easy to put together and instantly transform a room. Trust me, I've experienced this. The print above from Furbish Studio will go fabulously on any wall. I'm stocking up on these cute prints with such true sayings!

- Get a pretty standing tray. There are so many ways to style these! I need to do a post on this (note to self). From bar carts to side tables, trays make a chic statement. How cute is this little guy from C. Wonder?

- Decorate your shelves with fun, quirky accents. And if you don't own shelves, get on that! Most of mine are from Ikea and cost next to nothing. No excuses, people.

- Change up any room with fabulous new pillows. Again, there are so so so many options out there. I suggest holding out for the web. I'm a pillow hoarder and I have to say, the best options come from the internet. So resist that urge of instant gratification for something that isn't near as cool! (I'm preaching to myself, too. It's a problem)
