Los Angeles City Guide with Ann Taylor

It’s no secret that I absolutely love Los Angeles. I’m a
born Texan girl, but this city totally has my heart. I want each of you to be
able to experience LA like a local, so I teamed up with Ann Taylor to give you
guys a LA City Guide of three great spots. You’ll be eating, shopping and
drinking, so prepare yourselves!

Cake Mix:
8302 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Cake Mix is not your average LA bakery. Trust me, I’ve seen
them all! Ace of Cakes star, Duff Goldman created the bakery complete with in
house decorating studio and fabulous works of cake art. You can make your own
cakes, people! It’s such a fun experience that beats your average: Walk in.
Stuff face. Walk out. They teach you how to design a cake and show you all the
tricks of the trade. Create whatever you want in this sweet shop. Have your
camera ready, the place is just darling!

The Grove/Farmers Market
189 The Grove Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90036

If you love to shop like me (and you probably do if you
follow my blog) you’ll absolutely love The Grove. An oasis with beautiful
fountains and plenty of gorgeous flowers, The Grove is LA’s best outdoor shopping
destination. Here you will find so many of your favorite brands. You can even
ride the cute trolley! Bring the family, shop till’ you drop, and then see a
movie. The options are endless!

Village Idiot:
7383 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

One of my favorite places to dine and hang out after hours
is Village Idiot. The rustic chic atmosphere makes for a comfortable setting to
have a drink or two. If you’re under 21, don’t worry! The Village Idiot is not
only a happening bar at night; it’s also a delicious restaurant during the day.
I’m talking about some pretty scrumptious fish and chips, kale salad and waffle
fries. They have a wide variety of yummy cocktails as well! You won’t regret
this bar. Cheers!
