Bad Girl, Good Girl

I just love this little 60’s inspired dress! I bought it for one of my wedding festivities and thought I would give it a whirl again, this time with a little more edge. I love adding a leather jacket (when it’s not too hot!) to more girly pieces. You’ll see me do that a lot around this joint and it’s because I love a girly meets edgy look! I mean, who doesn’t?

Another reason why I love adding edgy elements to girly ensembles is because this usually means a dress. You guys know I’m terrible about buying dresses! For some reason I’m less drawn to them because of their one piece nature. I have to get over it occasionally and I’m always glad that I do. You really can add pieces to a dress to make it feel like it hasn’t been worn 8 zillion times! Start easy with a leather vest or jacket. It’s like you’re a bad girl and a good girl all at the same time. Which I also like. Uh ohhhhh! #getitgirl
