Pairing Printed Skirts

Remember when I wore this skirt a completely different way? It’s more versatile than you thought, isn’t it? Yes, yes it is. There are many cute ways to wear a fun printed skirt and today I wanted to show you a more feminine option. I’ll also share how I put together looks with prints to keep you perfectly un-matching. Because matching is so 2006.

First of all, I really love the length of this skirt. And when I look at it, all I can think about are the many ways I can make it look different in outfits. That’s how my brain works. I see a stand out piece and my mind starts going, and going, and going. See, here it goes!

When I’m thinking about what to pair with a look like this, I look at the colors present in the skirt. I could’ve gone for any neutral hue (grey, white, pale pink, camel, etc.) , but I decided to take the texture up a notch. Today I went with this pinstriped two toned button down from ASOS. See how a button down (buttoned to the top) can look non-stuffy and fun? It’s a wonderful thing!
I challenge you to find two ways to wear a printed skirt/shorts/pants this week! Be sure to show me what cha got! Some of my favorites are below 🙂

  1. I love a good printed skirt but always have such difficulty finding tops to wear with it. Thanks for the inspirations!
