I wore this comfy outfit while spending time with our family last weekend. Read on to hear more about what we did + the suede trend that I love so much!
Sweater: Nasty Gal (sold out, similar)// Skirt: Calypso St. Barth (old, similar) // Boots: Stuart Weitzman 50/50 // Bag: Balenciaga (similar)// Sunglasses: Celine (similar) // Ring: Found in a small boutique in Stephenville, TX
Before I get into what we did this weekend, I first need to express how happy it makes me feel to see suede make a comeback in the fashion world. Adding a touch of suede and mixing textures makes any look more unique. In addition to this suede trend, we're seeing a big push to switch up textures. Mix and match all types of fabrics and have fun with the results! Like I always say, matching is so 2001. We are, like, over that. Okay? (said in a Valley Girl voice)
Chandler and I went to his grandmother's house in Stephenville, TX last weekend to visit family and see our precious angel nephew, Jackson. Chandler's sister, Morgan, had him just over a month ago and we couldn't be more excited for her! While in town, we decided to do a little shopping (naturally). Stephenville has the cutest little town square where Chandler's uncle has an amazing interior design/flower shop called Scott's. While looking around in a jewelry/art boutique, I fell in love with the Jade ring I'm wearing here (I know it's kind of hard to see!) It's spectacular!
It's always so nice to spend some time in wide open spaces. It feels good to recharge and recenter for the coming year. I'm refreshed!
