NYFW DIARY: Day 2, Outfit 1

Today’s diary is from my NYFW Day 2, outfit 1. I’m sure you remember this pair of red pants (last seen on me here & here) from last season on my blog. I’m in the business of reviving old pieces lately it seems! Funny enough, I fell in love with the cut of this trouser so much that I bought them in another color. Red pants are sometimes all you need to make an outfit complete. I decided to keep the rest neutral with layers of cashmere and wool. I have to admit, this was actually a warm outfit! And day 2 was one of the coldest. I started my day in a showroom to preview one of my favorite accessory designers, Loeffler Randall…

Sweater: Calypso St. Barth, similar here & here // Pants: Nordstrom (sold out – identical ASOS pair) // Heels: Valentino // Coat: Wallis (old, similar here & here & here) // Bag: Alexander Wang //

After the showroom meeting, my husband and I headed to lunch with my friend Lynsey of TomboyKC near our next shows. We watched Sally Lapointe, which was amazing and each model carried a clutch nearly as big as themselves. It was Heaven on Earth in my eyes. Oh, people — fringe is totally here to stay and you need to get yourself a snood, stat! Just reporting the important stuff! lol.

After Sally Lapointe, we headed to Milk for Cushnie et Ochs. It was naturally amazing with extremely bright and deep, rich colors. Cushnie is known for their sex appeal. And it was present even in FW 2015.

After a long day of running around town, I met back up with my husband for dinner and a little shopping!
