Jamaica Trip Pt. 2

In today’s post about part two of our trip to Jamaica, I’ll share more about what we did and where we ate, etc.  I also combined tons of photos, so I hope you enjoy, Mon!

Coral Beach– Our driver highly recommended Coral Beach for our Negril day trip. His reasoning? It would be less crowded and the sand — the sand would be perfect. He was right. We really enjoyed hanging out and eating on the beach at Cosmos. It’s a local hot spot and a perfect place to sit back, have some shrimp and a Red Stripe.

Cosmos on Coral Beach- Cosmos was a great local spot with authentic Jamaican food. We enjoyed a Red Stripe and learned more about the culture with our driver/tour guide. I recommend the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Grilled Shrimp!

Devon House “I Scream”- So we were obligated to stop for obvious reasons and ended up loving the ice cream! Devon House is not only a sweet name, it’s a local favorite ice cream shop. The strawberry was divine and so was the ‘Devon Stout’. I would definitely stop by this delicious place if I were you!

Tryall Waterwheel- Used in the 1800s to transport water for the process of sugar cain, this gorgeous wheel is definitely worth stopping for. The local guides will give you all the history behind it, and you’ll leave with some amazing photos.
