Calypso St. Barth Winter Fete

A love for entertaining is something I have inherited from my mother. As a true Southern Belle, she is the queen of anything and everything entertaining and has definitely passed down the ‘cheese platter’ if you will.
As much as I love a holiday gathering (or any kind for that matter), when I’m honest with myself, I do think about how nice it would be to have a private chef team handle it all.

Well, my entertaining prayers were answered in the form of Haute Chefs LA for a recent gathering I collaborated with Calypso St. Barth at a friend’s home in West Hollywood.
We were all dressed chic and warm in cashmere, thanks to the lovely team at Calypso St. Barth who was kind enough to dress my guests and myself. I loved (and wanted to steal) Jana’s vintage inspired Calypso dress, Mara’s shaggy fabulous Calypso vest and Grasie’s luxurious cashmere sweater.

My long tunic top and cozy cashmere sweater was the perfect hostess friendly pair and kept me comfortable all night. I have to say; I’m currently wearing the cashmere wrap and haven’t taken it off much since the party. The sweater comes in several colors and I kicked myself because it would have made the best holiday gift!

The featured tabletop accessories are from the Calypso St. Barth Maison collection and made for the perfect holiday gathering, or any occasion for that matter. I love the modern gold accents and cowhide textures! One of my personal favorite Calypso accents is the Enyezi Astrology throw mixed with the chic sequin pillows. It helped accent the gorgeous food by Chef Nimer and Haute Chefs LA.

Having Chef Nimer’s team take care of our meal and wine allowed me to enjoy every bit of my guests. I usually find myself struggling to balance tending to my guest needs and enjoying their company. Thanks to their team this was a non-issue!

A few of my favorite girls, Mara, Jana & Grasie came
over for a night of great conversation and delicious (I MEAN, DELICIOUS) chow.
A big thanks to Calypso St. Barth & Haute Chefs LA for helping me put this
together and making it possible.
