St. Thomas Adventure

If you followed along on Instagram, you’d remember Chandler and I being in much warmer temperatures last week (it’s 5 degrees in NYC!!). We had the opportunity to visit 3 beautiful locations that I will be sharing over the next lalong with our adventures in each. St. Thomas is first up and it was definitely a beaut!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- our absolute favorite way to see each location is through renting a car and exploring on our own. Sure, we might encounter the occasional ‘CHANDLER OMG YOU ARE GOING TO KILL US’ and yes, it can get a little hairy at times when you’re driving on the other side of the road, but that’s what makes it so fun and definitely keeps us on our toes!

St. Thomas was such a beautiful place with breathtaking views. It’s been several years since I visited the caribbean destination, so I was ready to explore.  Chan and I knew it would be essential to get to the highest point – so we just drove until we made it there (and asked friendly townspeople along the way). Speaking of along the way, we ran into a outrageously cool coconut man who I fell in love with and a donkey who I had to give a neck hug. Some of you guys commented saying the cutie even tried to get in the car after taking photos with him – I would’ve been in Heaven.

After a full day of exploration, we hit up the very crowded market (I’m not big on overly crowded locations, period) and called it a day.
Have you been to St. Thomas? What did you think?

  1. I'm also a fan of being able to drive or walk around and explore. I like to see as much as I can and poke my head into all the nooks and crannies of a place.

Also not a fan of super crowded places. I feel claustrophobic and it's just super draining. That's why I can't do amusement parks. I like places filled with life but I also want physical space lmao.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Crowds are freaky! I am with you- people need to just give us our space haha 🙂
