So my cousin and her awesome boyfriend agreed to photograph me and I honestly fell in love with their work! Granted we just had about 15 mins and sat in a local area, but I couldnt help but adore their creativity and direction. Needless to say, I plan on enlisting them to photograph me more often while I’m in Dallas. Please just look at this (and I’m not kidding) $15 blouse I snagged at T.J. Maxx! I have to admit… I got it on a mission to find pieces for my new apartment… fashionistas don’t judge! But I think we can all appreciate an amazing deal.
On a completely different note, I became obsessed with the DIY decor girl blogs the other night. I first came upon Vintage Revivals and Thrifty Decor Chick, but I was directed to what seemed like 295293 other blogs from hers. I honestly loved them all equally. My mom and I have planned on re-doing countless pieces of furniture this summer and I’ve finally got the courage! I think I fell in love with their blogs because of my eagerness to learn how to turn what I love (vintage pieces) into fabulous art. I’ve always wondered how these DIY interior stylists do what they do. I guess its a common love of making old things new again. DING DING.. I have found a new addiction.
At least its not drugs… right?
stay tuned to see all the pieces of furniture I’m re-doing for my new apartment 🙂
have a fashionable day.
xo, Dev
