Fall Color Blocking

Forever 21 blouse, Old Navy skirt, Vintage belt, Forever 21 booties, Francesca’s bag, Max&Chloe necklace, Forever 21 bracelet
I have a serious obsession with color blocking. The way separate colors can some how collaborate and look so perfect just amazes me. I love the fact that we have gotten away from the whole matching thing. Matching is so last year! Imperfection is perfection in my book.
On a different note, how great are these booties? I need a black pair more than these tan and beige ones I keep buying, but I couldn’t resist at a price of $40 and such a comfortable fit. Forever 21 (on occasion) can produce a surprisingly wearable heel, I’ve come to find. Trust me, I was on my feet for hours in these puppies!
How are you guys color blocking for fall?

  1. So cute! I can't believe those booties are F21! At first glance I thought they were the Jeffrey Campbell Rumble Booties! Loving the colors here, the skirt is so pretty!

  2. What, those boots are F21?! I need them! I thought they were the JC Rumble boots at first glance. Glad to hear they are comfy. Love the way the pink and orange complement each other, as well as you!

  3. LOVE your colorblocking. I can't get enough of vibrant colors this fall. Everyone at works makes comments about how I wear such colorful stuff. I use to be an all black or dark color girl (esp during the winter) but I'm def. having a lot more fun playing with color. I did a post a few post back on how to wear neons this fall and it called for playing with one bold neon piece and neon accessories. I think colorblocking can be frightful for some people so mixing in one bold garment with some fun accessories is another great way to play with this trend.
