15 Beauty Staples

I’m personally someone who loves and enjoys trying all types of beauty products. My husband sighs every time I bring another Sephora bag home but I can’t help myself and it’s my job to try things, right? Right! I try so many products. From hair masks to face masks and foot masks alike, I’m sincerely interested in (borderline obsessed with) discovering great products and sharing them with you guys. With that said, I want to talk about some staples. We all have those staple products, our ride or die’s if you will, the one’s you consistently lean towards even after making yourself try other options. Today I’ll share a few of my essentials for beauty survival.

I cannot sing the praises of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream enough. I have used it for a little less than a month now and will never cease. As someone who naturally has skin on the dry side, the cream perfectly hydrates and can be used in the morning and night. I’ve seen a difference in my skin in so many ways! I would highly recommend this product and I’m so glad it exists.
I’ve used the MAC Prep + Prime spray for years. I left with the spray after an overdone high school makeover and was never the same, honestly. Those who also use this will agree – it’s the best. Spray before make up to prime and after to set everything in place. I also spray throughout the day for a little pick me up.

Unite Luxury Oil & 7 Seconds Conditioning/Detangler spray are equally life changing. I’ve used both combined with the luxury cream after (pretty much) every wash since I moved to LA and started seeing Molly at Nine Zero One about 3 years ago (highly recommend her if you’re in the area!)
Another daily ritual? La Mer ‘The Reparative Body Lotion‘ and SPF. They are worth the money, trust me. The reparative lotion smooths your legs is the perfect way + doesn’t feel greasy or have an overwhelming smell.

My Mom introduced me to Kate Somerville ExfoliKate and it is another life changing (twice) weekly ritual. Use this little mask situation and your skin will feel different.
Rosebud Salve is always in my bag. It’s the shiz.
When I want to use a good organic scented body lotion (frequently) I reach for Skin Trip. It’s affordable and smells wonderful – plus the packaging is cute.
I’m also hooked on First Aid Beauty’s face cleanser – it’s perfectly gentle for my semi-sensitive skin.

I keep Fresh ‘Sugar Advanced Therapy‘ chapstick with me at all times. Maybe I shouldn’t in this ridiculous LA heatwave – it recently melted weirdly. 🙁
The Oribe Gold Lust pair are hands down my favorite shampoo and conditioner. Another item worth the money! The conditioner acts basically as a hair mask and is way easier to deal with in the shower. Trust me, you’ll love this.

Discovering The Wet Brush was a game changer for me. So was using a wide tooth comb while conditioning my hair in the shower!

What are your beauty staples? Do you see any of them above here? Do tell!
