White Romper in Napa

Yesterday marked 2 years of marriage for Chandler and I! Can we just talk about how fast time flew by? Jeez- it feels like I walked down the isle last week. #Tear! Marriage has been such a fun journey thus far and I can’t help but feel blessed and thankful to have found such an amazing person (inside and out) to grow old with. So thanks for putting up with me, Chan!

In celebration of our anniversary, we headed to Napa Valley for a weekend of vino and relaxation…

Our stay in Napa was short but sweet. After spending our first day exploring St. Helena (more on that later), we drove to Downtown Napa for brunch. Angele (our original plan) was not yet open, so we decided to walk over to Napa General Store instead. Such a great decision! Our wait time was only 15 minutes and the food was delicious, as was the lovely patio.

Last time we were in Napa, construction was still underway on the Riverfront shopping area – nearly everything is finished on this side now and there are so many new restaurants and shops! We walked around and enjoyed the weather and I wore my comfy white romper. I’m not going to lie, during the morning I froze. But once the clock struck noon I was good to go. On came the new Fendi sunnies – could you die over these btw?

We spent the rest of the day sipping vino at various wineries such as Hall, Newton Vineyards, Alpha & Omega and a couple small wineries in St. Helena. Both of us agreed we need to stay an extra day next time to visit more – there are over 500! A tip for those traveling to Napa- check out Wine Country online and their App. It’s the easiest guide for planning a trip to any wine country in the US.
