Unexpected Sparkle

Top: H&M
Skirt: New York & Company
Shoes: DSW
Belt: Vintage
Jewelry: All about Moi, Michael Kors

Hello darlings! This look is one of my favorites. It involves pairing a sequined bottom with a plain top. In a previous post, I sported a sequined top with plain bottoms. The rules are pretty much the same. As you all know, I hate to be plain. Don’t get me wrong, sequins are anything but plain- but when the top was considered, I had to add a detailed belt to spice the look up a bit. With a knee length skirt such as the one I have on, my advice is this: try leaving your top untucked. By untucking the top and adding a belt, you cinch that mid section as well as elongate it! (Helloooo hour glass!) Any excuse to make my midsection smaller or longer is music to my ears, and I’m sure is for you too!

Have a fashionable day 🙂
