First of all… I know you’ve all been patiently waiting to find out the winner of the Derng giveaway! And here she is….
Miss K of Love Lipstick and Pearls! I’ll be emailing you shortly 🙂
On another note.. I wanted to share what I wore to the Poshmark Posh Party at the TXSC Conference. I have to tell you that I was SO nervous about this look. Yes, the girl who’s always pushing you to get out of your comfort zones was pretty scared herself. This dress was completely out of my element with it’s leather and edgy feel. When I tried it on, my friend Morgan insisted I wear it. It did have a flattering fit, so I told myself to get the you-know-what’s to wear it. And my conclusion? I wore the dress. After much deliberation and talking myself into. And it was a great decision. I threw a blazer over it to tone down my fears (hey, it’s okay to do that!) and I instantly felt more comfortable. I guess my point is that you can wear that dress you feel like you can’t pull off. Sometimes it does take a little extra piece, but it’ll work. So today I’m daring you to take the risk, the plunge, or the leap to your uncomfortable zone. I think you’ll find it to be surprisingly accommodating.

Stay tuned for more pictures of the TXSC Conference throughout the week 🙂
