Happy 2nd Birthday, DevonRachel.com!

(These pictures were taken at the spot of my very first blog post!)
It’s hard to believe I’ve been blogging for 2 years now. It has been a crazy/incredible ride to say the least. What started as a way to write (my second passion) and share my favorite outfits has turned into a real business… a fashion business. Wow, I never thought I’d be saying “fashion” and “business” in the same sentence describing my job!
In 2012 alone, my blog took me to places I never thought I could go. It has given me the opportunity to build a brand and a business of my own. It has transplanted me 1,500 miles out of my comfort zone to Los Angeles, where it has brought some pretty great people into my life.
I’ve gotten to do so many incredible things that I never imagined possible because of this blog.
To all that have supported, followed, read and worked with DevonRachel.com, I don’t know if the world has enough thank-you’s. You are the reason I blog. You inspire me to be better. You have become my friends, even though we may not have met. I feel like I know you all– and that is something I truly cherish.
Your feedback means the world to me, and I read every single line you write. If I’ve been able to inspire you to dress out of your comfort zone, or inspire you in any way through fashion, I’ve done my job. And this job is far from over!
These past 2 years have been such a blessing. I cannot wait to share some exciting new things happening in year 3! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  2. Happy Blog Birthday! 🙂 Love the pictures 🙂 You are so inspiring… good luck and much success in the upcoming year!

  3. Congrats Devon! I love reading your blog. I also love that you hail from Dallas, just like me! Among all the successful NY and CA bloggers you inspire me to keep working hard at my dreams even though I'm not in the typical environment for it. I hope I can be as successful as you've already become. Hard work does pay off, just gotten keep telling myself that 🙂 You rock and I hope you are loving LA!

    Thanks from Austin, TX!
