One day I want to own an old car of some sort (preferably from the 60s-70s). This little bug may not be old enough, but it sure makes me so happy! Remember that game you would play with your annoying little brother? The Slug Bug game? #NoSlugsBack. I just had to say it.
On a fashion note: I fell in love with this blazer + tee while shopping with my Mom at BCBG over the weekend. So much goodness in that dream of a store. Naturally, I went in for a dress and came out with 2 dresses and this combo. It was 20% off, okay? And I had something to celebrate! Stay tuned for more exciting news… ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh, and these are the most comfortable jeans known to man. Just to let you know. I wear boyfriend jeans, like, every day. #GetYouSome.

  1. My mom's first car was an old bug like that one only it was bright red. She had it forever and called it Ketchup. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love that BCBG outfit and I wish it was warm enough here for this kind of outfit. It's March so it should be!! AH!

  2. Ummmm I'm completely obsessed with boyfriend denim, can't get enough of that trend and hope it never goes away.

Fun fact, my older brother owns a yellow slug bug that looks similar to the one shown. Just thought I'd share.

  3. I haven't heard of slug bug before, we used to call it punch buggy {insert car colour} and then someone would get punched in the arm ๐Ÿ˜‰ As for your new tee and blazer, I can understand why you couldn't leave the store without them. Love the combo and they make a great outfit with your boyfriend jeans!

  4. I wonder if kids still say "slug bug," hopefully they do or that makes me feel rather old! I love this look by the way, and that you pushed limits by pairing a loose flowy top with boyfriend jeans. It looks great!
