The Avalon hotel will transport you into a different world. To me, this world is one that I dream of frequently: the 60s. Vivianne, the hotel’s vibrantly decorated (and perfectly instagrammable) restaurant is a vision in color. And I’m obsessed with their cocktails! I ordered a Cosmo slightly reluctantly (too cliche) but I was glad that I did. #Delicious.
I’d have to say one of my most frequently asked questions is, ‘Where should we go in LA’. I was reminded of this while telling my girlfriend Mackenzie Horan favorite locations to hit on her upcoming trip to LA. I know it’s crazy to not have a travel guide for the city I have loved + lived for the last 4 years! Don’t worry- I’m working on it. But until then, I’ll occasionally share a few spots I’m obsessing over for obvious reasons.
Chandler and I decided to make a goal of trying 1 new restaurant, cafe or coffeeshop a week, so this task will be documented (shocker!) for you guys as I know LA is a popular place to travel. I’ll start with this hidden gem I discovered while attending an event complete with 60s style synchronized swimmers – a hotel and restaurant you don’t want to miss.
The salad and chicken were delicious as well as the cheese plate. Whether it’s for dinner, happy hour or brunch, this spot’s on my list and it should be on yours too!
