To celebrate Chandler’s 28th birthday, we drove up to Santa Barbara last weekend and fell in love with the city. It was our first time in the downtown SB and Montecito area (why have we never visited? It’s so close!) so we we’re excited to explore and spend some quality time together. Side note: Chandler has been traveling back and forth from TX to LA for work a lot lately, so our time together is precious and we are always so excited be together.
We woke up bright and early Sunday morning (Chan’s birthday) and made the 1 hour, 20 minute (!!!) drive up the coast. >>>> read on >>>>>
Santa Barbara is the cutest most dreamy little town! To me, it has this city vibe and small town feel all in one and I esthetically loved every corner. We checked into the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara, a luscious and beautiful property steps away from the beach and pretty much left the world behind for some great wine, food, laughs and conversation. It was so nice to get that ‘getaway’ feeling while less than 2 hours from home. I’m in prep mode for the busiest time of year currently, so this and next week are pretty vital for me to stay close and GSD. I feel like the weekend away gave me that last little push of motivation I need to slay my way through this busy time! #workoutarmemoji
We spent the day shopping around Downtown Santa Barbara after having a yummy breakfast at the adorable danish Andersen’s Bakery. There were so many cute boutiques & shops – definitely more of a full two day situation with your girlfriends if you want to really get the most out of it am I right? HA!.
After a fun day of shopping and sun, we enjoyed happy hour (complete with delicious fries and garlic aioli) and dinner and more drinks. Celebrations were in order! I wore one of my new favorite dresses by Keepsake The Label. It’s impossible to stand still in this dress because you just want to dance around and let it move – just kidding kind of. The bell sleeves are gorgeous and quality is on point.
Beautiful shots!
