One of the major misconceptions with Holiday style is that you have to wear black, sequins, red, or green to parties. I totally disagree! As long as there's some sort of sparkle which could definitely be in the form of a statement necklace, you're good to go. 
Take this fabulous Rebecca Minkoff maxi dress, for instance. Although it doesn't scream "SEEEQUINS!" or red/green/black, this dress is actually a great Holiday party/event option.
The slit just gives it a fun and edgy/sexy vibe that I love. You'll feel like a major rockstar in this get-up. What more could you ask for?
 I added a fun statement necklace to 'spice' up the look, making it a fierce contender in my Holiday party outfit options.
