Devon, Palm Springs & A Blue Dress

June 30, 2015

Like I mentioned last week, I'm a huge fan of blue and I have clearly been on a blue spree while shopping lately! But I have to say - Turquoise Blue is synonymous with Palm Springs. Bright colors, beautiful prints and vintage vibes are what Palms Springs is about and I definitely thought about that while packing for this trip. Because it's the desert and extremely hot, you'll notice I packed a lot of dresses. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm always trying to build my dress wardrobe! This summer I definitely will. With all of the summer events, weddings, etc., I'm on the market for several dresses. I don't know about you but I need a dress for everything! Darn. ;)

Felicity & Coco Shift Dress via Nordstrom // J Crew Sandals (30% off with code: SUMMERSTYLE) // Illesteva Sunglasses // Madewell Bracelets // Chloe bag //

I picked up this fun Turquoise dress while shopping at Nordstrom last week. It comes in several other fun colors and in my opinion: this dress is truly a blank canvas. A solid shift dress in any color most definitely is! Add a fun scarf around your arms or neck (or a turban); keep it on the fancier side with a great pair of strappy, lace up nude heels; throw a fun belt around the dress or even a flouncy blouse underneath. See how I justify every purchase? Ha! This dress can be worn more than once, people.
