When Chandler and I moved into our new place in LA a few months back, we were so overjoyed to finally have a guest bedroom for all of our friends and family to stay. With this big move we also said goodbye to our place in Texas to be in Los Angeles full time, so a guest room was a must.
Our home is nearly 2,000 sqft and we decided to start from scratch with furniture etc. (More reveals coming!) It has been such a fun process, but halfway through I realize I definitely neglected the guestroom. Thankfully Z Gallerie saved the day and we teamed up to create the ultimate guest retreat. I’ve been a fan of Z Gallerie for years – their furniture quality is fabulous and lasts. Trust me. I still have pieces from high school and college in my home!
They suggested I take the Style Personality Quiz, which asks a variation of lifestyle and design questions to get a sense of my design aesthetic. I landed on the Naturally Luxe Style Personality, which is all about outdoor-inspired décor with a chic twist. From there, they offered a curated selection of décor and furniture that are aligned to my Style Personality. I browsed all of the other Style Personalities and found myself loving pieces from 2 particular styles but as someone who has a hard time narrowing things down, the quiz was a very helpful tool.
Isn’t this mirror fab? It’s a classic that I know will become a staple in our home, much like a lot of my other Z Gallerie pieces over the years.
To keep with the natural vibe in this space, I decided to layer textures with the rugs. I love a jute rug combo! Jute goes with everything and adds that somethin-somethin to a space.
I just love it!
Accessories like the Organic Capiz Bowl add a special boho yet glam touch to the space. I really wanted this room to be light and airy for our guests with a boho glam vibe. I couldn’t be happier with the results! To add in a touch of color in a sophisticated way, I opted for this chic Henri Matisse print.
#ThosePillowsTho When I did a little sneak peek on Instagram a few weeks back, you guys went crazy over these pillows! They are my favorite, too.
I hope you guys love the space as much as we do! Be sure to head over to Z Gallerie to see more from the feature!
Devon, I typically am not someone who loves all white because at times it just seems like it is over done. But I am LOVING what you did here! Just the right amount of color and warmth, makes for such an inviting room! I love that this isn't a cookie cutter look and you used unique pieces that are true to your Texas roots.
I adore Z gallerie! When I used to live in LA last year and was decorating my apartment, I went to Z numerous times! 🙂 Your home looks amazing!

1) I like that there's a chair in there.
2) I like the mixing of textures.
3) I like all the reflective surfaces too.
