Winter-izing Summer Tops

(Gap Turtleneck, Anthropologie top, F21 skirt, Target belt, gifted Steve Madden clutch, Lucky Brand shoes, Chanel glasses, Michael Kors watch)
If you ever read my blog, you know I’m all about making my wardrobe work for any and every season. From dresses to shorts, I try to find ways to transition my favorite summer pieces to fall and even winter. Today, I decided to layer this black  turtleneck under this flowy Anthropolgie top– and belted it for a finishing touch. See how easy that was? Oh, and as I always say: don’t be afraid to mix prints! It takes a little playing around with the pieces to get your perfect summer-to-winter look, but I promise you can make your wardrobe work for you!
Oh, and how great is this leopard Steve Madden clutch? My boyfriend’s awesome sister Morgan totally hit the bulls eye on this one. I cannot believe I have never owned a leopard clutch! Considering I think leopard is a neutral and all…

  1. Such an important part of style (and blogging!) is being able to re-mix pieces in your closet…and you did this beautifully! I love the striped skirt paired with the beautiful Anthro top and of course that fab clutch (you are inspiring me to do more print mixing!) and I am so inspired by this look because of the turtle neck! I have never bought one, but I just might after seeing you in this outfit!
