Holiday Wrapping Ideas

It’s hard to believe the holidays are upon us and equally nearly over already! We are basically finished shopping over here and now onto my favorite part, wrapping.

You may remember my obsession with wrapping presents, bows, etc- I love making my own paper, tying all kinds of objects to the boxes and I also love buying and hoarding cute paper (best place to find KILLER unique paper at a great price? HOMEGOODS!) If I can make the time, I really enjoy adding the extra touch to each package, and making each special for the person. This year, I’m doing a little painting and experimenting with a few new ideas. Ha- famous last words, right? We will see how it goes. Until then, I wanted to share some Unique Holiday Gift Wrap Inspiration to get your creative juices flowing. You are WELCOME, honey!

At the end of each photo you will find a link to the DIY if available

Grab a few rolls of brown paper, a few paint pens and go to town with your favorite style. For the splatter paint, I set up an area of newspaper and throw that you-know-what all over it. Here’s the real directions, though> – http://www.junkaholique.com/2014/12/eco-wrappings.html

Now if you’re REALLY crafty and artistic (and have some time), you should definitely try this fabulous look with boxes and a white paint pen! http://www.alwaysrooney.com/2017/12/diy-gift-boxes-personalized-brown-paper.html

When you are looking for present toppers, look no further than your back yard or Christmas tree. I am ALL about using items you already have around the house or growing in your yard (or neighbors, hehe). The look is super elevated and simple at the same time.

Use small string to wrap several times around boxes – it looks especially cool when used with splatter paint! This is a great stress relief as well. I know you’re stressing, girl.
